You will soon receive a new Prism Bank debit card in the mail. Due to new fraud prevention guidelines from our processor and MasterCard, all card numbers will change.
When you receive your card, simply follow the instructions on the sticker in order to activate it and set up a PIN. You have 30 DAYS to activate the new debit card. Once the new debit card has been activated, the old debit card will immediately be deactivated.
If you have any automatic or recurring transactions, you will need to update your information with the impacted merchant(s). You can look at your most recent statement to know what merchants you will need to update with the new debit card information.
We do offer a bill payment solution through our mobile banking app and online banking that allows you to pay your bills. You can set them up as recurring or you can manually select what payment needs to go out. It gives you the control of when you want to pay a bill instead of giving someone authorization to use your debit card.
